Neil Armstrong stumbles upon mankind’s greatest discovery.
This is a 30 second commercial I made for the “Dibs Film Fest” (www.dibsfilmfest.com). It was a nation wide contest that called for people to create advertisements for Dibs Ice Cream snacks. This is what I came up with.
I lost. However I did get an honorable mention with is pretty good I guess. Two seconds of it were featured on MTV…during prime time.
This movie cost roughly 70 dollars to make. The alien and astronaut costumes were constructed from materials bought at Home Depot, Wal*Mart, and an arts and crafts store. The moon was made from a beach ball covered in Moon Sand (probably the most amazing sculpting material I ahve ever used). It was all filmed in front of a blue screen in my basement.
Special thanks to Mitch, Nathan, Jack, Mary Glen, and Kyle.
